The High Five switch was a fun project to start off the semester. I loved using conductive fabric to create a switch that would turn on when someone tapped your hand.
I started by first marking the area that I though would have the best connection when someone high fived my hand.
Once I had stitched up my glove and tested it I noticed that the switch was always on, whether I was tapping it or not.
Later I realized that there were parts of the conductive fabric that were constantly touching. I had to open up the whole black patch and insulate the fabric again.
Once I re stitched the glove the switch started to work.
