Courtney Phone Conversation

1. Can she use it?

2. Does she need help keeping her hand in place?

3. Can she consistently use the buttons? Are they too far apart?

She can’t really use it. Her sense of touch is too light. There’s nothing strapping her hand to the device, and she has limited mobility of her fingers.

The buttons are too far apart (Closer, and it might work) She barely moves her index and thumb

She can’t put her fingers down so buttons could be placed directly underneath her fingers though it would have to be strapped.

She can’t apply pressure Down/Up is easier than Left/Right. Using a joystick might work as long as you can strap her hand onto it to be able to grasp it.

Ideas and responses

1 button, sound cycle on/off

Light receptor, (so she doesn’t have to put pressure over anything)

wrist movement is her strongest, yet still weak. Could possibly use joystick.
